IT and Operations Update

We are undertaking a new update to the Green studio which started a few years ago with the Red studio’s update. Replacing the old ARC 8 with the new ARC 10 is easy enough, but comes with a multitude of upgrades to old cabling. Along with the console upgrade a few other things came along at the same time. The boom mic in the red studio failed so parts were ordered to upgrade the mic booms in both studios. Parts are in and that issue will be fixed this week. Then a CD player failed in the Red studio. AJ swapped it out with a newer one from the Green studio. I’m currently working to get a quote to either repair or replace the failed CD player. I’m having a lot of fun crawling under studio desks replacing cables and parts that need upgrading!

Now I know this isn't really an IT issue but I wanted to recognize and thank AJ Biggerstaff who recently spent 40+ hours updating our music library, pulling duplicates. Big job and really appreciated.
